The recent NASCC, The Steel Conference held in San Antonio, Texas, from March 20th to 22nd, saw the participation of Krabo, the Fontana Gruppo sister company specialized in iOT bolts.

Many experts in the field, engineers, builders, erectors and detailers, showed up at the Krabo booth and saw first-hand some samples of KRABO® bolts. They had been enthusiastic about this new technology that may help them to reduce maintenance costs and increase safety in steel construction.

Through a workshop, Paolo Redaelli, project manager at Krabo, and Simone Aiassa, electronic principal engineer at Krabo, showed how the KRABO® device works. A deep dive into the technology helped the audience understand how the networking bolts are made and how fascinating this innovation is.

Since its foundation in 2018, Krabo has consistently aimed at developing smart fastening systems, providing a platform where bolts are connected and controlled in real-time through wireless technology.
